What the Pfarkel's have been working on

Just to let you know that we really have been working on projects for our upcoming two shows in Sept.  Here is one before and after.











Then we found all these insolators that are now clean of all the dust and grime and we have designed some of them into candle holders, etc.

The Pfarkel Sisters have been busy!!!!

The Pfarkel Sisters cleaned up and put things away after the 3rd Annual Vintage Treasures Market in June.  July was spent mostly sweating while getting what seemed like very little done.   But, we have been busy working on addition projects for our upcoming TWO September events.
First we will be vendors at JunkMarket Style's "Fleamarket Under Glass" at Otten Bros Garden Center in Long Lake, MN on Sept. 7 - 10.   Additional information at the following websites:  www.junkmarketsyle.com ,  www.ottenbros.le2.getliveedit.com

Next we will be doing Junk Bonanza at Canterbury Downs in Shakopee, MN from Sept  15 - 17.

Directions to Vintage Treasures Market

We have received information from viewers that the google map gives mixed information on directions.

US Hwy 52 goes south from Rochester to Fountain, as you are coming into Fountain Co. Rd. 11 is a left hand turn (watch for Root Prairie Lutheran Church signs and OURS), take Co. Rd. 11 for approx. 4 miles (go beyond the turn to the church 1 mi.) and the driveway is on the right.

If you are coming from Iowa or somewhere else South of Fountain, take US 52 north to Fountain continue to the north edge of town and turn right unto Co. Rd. 11, take for approx. 4 mi. and driveway is on the right.

Pfarkel's adding color to the country house

We have been adding color and refinishing floors at the country house.   These have been cold,rainy day projects.   This Pfarkel sister is nailing base trim board not taking a nap on the job.

Vintage Treasures Market is now Quad State

We just added two vendor/artisans from Iowa--210th St. Designs and Junk revised and one from Nebraska - Dorothy Waltz.   Last week we also added KBB Creative Creations from Chatfield.
It looks like they all have some wonderful items for all the shoppers.

Vintage Treasures Market adds Wine Tasting

The Vintage Tresures Market is adding another feature for shoppers and vendors alike.  On Friday, the 17th of June we will have Whitewater Wines host a wine tasting from 5 - 7 pm.  So come and try the wine after you have done your shopping on Friday.

The Parkel Sisters spent the weekend getting our junk spiffed up and ready for a spring look so we can take it to Flea Market Under Glass with Junkmarket Style at Otten Bros. 3rd Annual Vintage Treasures Market in June

The Pfarkel Sisters and friends will be hosting the
3rd Annual Vintage Treasures Market.
June 17 & 18, 2011 at our new location:  29452  County Road 11, Fountain, MN.

This location is only 14 miles south of St. Charles and 4 miles north of  Fountain.  (Fountain is located on US Hwy 52 south of Rochester and only 8 miles west of Lanesboro.)

It will offer us a bigger vendor/shopping area, lots of parking space, on a blacktop road and with all the views of the countryside.

The Pfarkel Sisters are on the move (well for sure this one is).  The picture above was taken two days after we bought this farm from my back porch, which is only 14mi. south of St. Charles.   This will be the location of our events from now on.   The first one is scheduled for June, 2011.   See additional post.
